Do people still click through to your website from a search engine?

What percentage of people click on the top 3 search results? What about the ads? Follow the data as we explore all this and more.

Search engines, like Google, do a great job at providing answers. So much so, that searchers often don’t need to leave Google to find it.

Gone are the days when Google simply provided a top 10 list of relevant websites based on our search terms. Instead, Google decides how best to present the “answer”:

  • Do we want to buy a product?
  • Do we need directions to the dentist?
  • Are we looking for images?

Knowing this often means searchers stay within the Google environment. With that in mind, do people still click through to your website from a search engine?
