Social media image and video best practices

It’s important to get the size right when uploading images to social media platforms. Images that aren’t the right size might get cropped in a strange way or appear lower quality than those on other pages. This can make your profile look less professional.

Quick tip: there are some common social media image sizes that work across many social media platforms. If your image is a square, you can dependably upload images that are 1080×1080 px. Similarly, many platforms use horizontal images, and often an image sized to  1200×628 px (a 1:1.91 ratio) works well here.
