Base Creative is donating to three initiatives on behalf of our clients this Christmas – The Turing Trust, Befrienders Worldwide, and Nature Positive.
At Base Creative, Christmas isn’t just about ticking off the last to-dos of the year – it’s about giving back when and where we can.
This year, we’re continuing a tradition close to our hearts by donating £1,000 across three fantastic initiatives we have worked with over the last 12 months.
To decide how that £1,000 is split, we’ve asked our clients, making this year’s campaign a little more special and spreading awareness of the great work these initiatives are doing. Let’s take a look at who we’re partnering with, and how our clients are getting involved.
This Christmas, we’ve sent our clients a little gift to say thank you for an amazing year. Along with their present, they’ll find a QR code inviting them to cast their vote for one of our charity partners. Their choice will help decide how we split the £1,000 donation, making sure every penny goes towards creating the biggest impact possible.
By giving back to the initiatives we’re proud to work alongside, we’re extending our mission beyond the office and into the communities that need it most.
This year, we’ve chosen three exceptional organisations that are driving change in education, sustainability, and mental health. Here’s who we’re supporting:
Reducing e-waste and opening up educational opportunities, The Turing Trust refurbishes laptops and other technology, providing them to schools in underserved regions. Each device helps students gain vital IT skills while cutting carbon emissions. It’s a perfect example of how innovation can drive both social and environmental progress.
Aiming to halt nature loss by 2030, Nature Positive empowers individuals, organisations, and governments to restore ecosystems and combat nature loss. Their work ensures future generations inherit a thriving, sustainable planet – something we all have a stake in.
With millions struggling in silence, Befrienders Worldwide connects people with emotional support through their global network of helplines. By providing a safe space to talk, they’re saving lives and offering hope to those in crisis.
We’re so proud to support these incredible initiatives and the amazing work they’re doing, but we couldn’t do it without the partnerships and collaboration that inspire us every day. This campaign is our way of giving back to our clients, to these initiatives, and to the world around us.
From all of us at Base Creative, thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to a Christmas full of generosity, gratitude and lots of good cheer.

There are so many opportunities for businesses to amplify the good in the world. That includes helping our clients as they lead the way in smart energy, employee-ownership and biotechnology. Each Christmas, however, we look for ways to help others outside of our everyday work. In 2005, we launched the Work With Us programme to […]

Your content isn’t boring. You’re just communicating your content in a boring way. Every business we talk to has the same problem. They need to harness the power of storytelling to reach their audience, but in a constantly changing online landscape, it feels like a marketing strategy written on Monday is already out of date […]
